Academic (Animated)
The 21,000 SF Academic building took full advantage of 3D modeling and design changes when the digital prototype, or 3D model, showed the HVAC system would adversely affect the structure as designed. The MEP systems were rerouted, and submitted to the design engineers for duct re-sizing and routing approval. This building was an example of how looking at the entire structure and all it’s sub systems allows contractors to see problems ahead of time.
